I qualified from Bristol School of Dental Hygiene, England, in 1984, where I received an educational award for ‘best student’. On moving to Reading, I worked at the Royal Berkshire Hospital oral surgery department, and in 1997 joined The Oaktree Dental Practice.

I am particularly interested in diet and its effect on tooth erosion and abrasion. I believe that maintaining a healthy mouth begins with good home care and I actively encourage and motivate all my patients to uphold this.

Outside of the practice I enjoy sailing and walking with my family.
