I qualified in 1980, from the Welsh National School of Medicine, University of Wales. My first position was a House Job in Oral Medicine and Periodontolgy at the Dental School, Cardiff. Following a short spell in the Community Service, I then moved into General Practice in 1982.

I enjoy all aspects of General Practice, particularly the challenge of ‘acclimatising’ more nervous patients to dental treatment.

I live locally with my husband. We have 2 sons in their late twenties.
